The Ultimate Customizable Holiday Gift from Knack Shops

You know that one person that makes it nearly impossible to complete your holiday list on time? The person who has everything, refuses to give any hints about a gift they might like, and overall makes it impossible to shop for them? I think we all know at least one person like that, and if you’re like me, you’re scratching your head trying to find the perfect gift for them all holiday season long. Luckily, Seattle-based Knack Shops has rocked my world with the ultimate, customizable holiday gift option that’s going to make gift-giving this season (and for every other occasion) so much simpler.

The perfect gift this holiday: Knack Shops Customizable Gift Set! // Hello Rigby Seattle Beauty BlogDisclosure: Thank you so much to Knack for partnering with me on this post. All opinions are my own!

Even better? Knack encourages shopping local, which is why you’ll find so many local Seattle brands and artisans represented. From Fran’s and Seattle Chocolate to Herbivore and Capitol Hill Candle Company and more, about 60% of the products available are local and they have an entire page dedicated to all of their goods from Pacific Northwest-based businesses. Beyond that, Knack Shops also denotes what type of business you are supporting on every item’s listing page, including whether a product is handmade, sustainable, made in the USA, is from a women-owned business, gives back, and more.

Natural Makeup Tutorial + Review // Giveaway!

It’s been about a year since I started using Juice Beauty skincare, and now I can say I’ve added their makeup to my arsenal too. While I don’t go 100% natural with my skincare or makeup products on an everyday basis, having options that perform that are kind to my body is kind of the greatest thing ever.

When it comes to what I’m putting on my skin (the largest organ of the body, after all) I most definitely want to put the best on it. For me, that has meant ingredients that do what they say they’ll do (mostly hydrate and provide anti-aging benefits at this point in my life) without costing a ton of money. I mean, I still need to have money for clothes after all!

I’d say Juice Beauty covers both my criteria with their makeup and skincare, plus some. I thought it would be fun to share a natural makeup tutorial for what I’ve been wearing for the past month or so on an every day, wear to work basis, and my thoughts on the products since I’ve been able to test them out thoroughly. If you’re interested in even more skincare reviews from the Juice Beauty line specifically, you can read my original review here. Be sure to read to the end to win a set of products to try for yourself too! :)

How to Wear Sneakers with Dresses + Seattle Gilt Sample Sale

One of my favorite things about blogging has been connecting with local small businesses. As someone who now runs their own small business (this blog), I can only imagine the effort and hard work that it takes to do it full time and hustle to get your product out there.

That’s why I was so excited to help Laura Britt Shoes out this year and participate in their commercial. They wanted everyday women to represent their sneaker brand, which I loved, and they selected several bloggers in the Seattle area to represent their brand. Laura Britt Shoes was founded by Helen Little several years after an earth shattering health scare in 2004. She knew she had to make a change, and decided to pursue writing and her own small business. She created comfy sneakers named after her daughter (who I coincidentally went to high school with!) in fun patterns and prints. A percentage of all proceeds goes to benefit Young Life and other charities near and dear to the Little Family.

Stitch Fix December 2016 | Stitch Fix Reviews

You guys, it’s almost December! How is that even possible?! November flew by and based on how quickly my calendar is filling up, I foresee that December will be gone before we know it too. Personally, I’m just trying to hold onto my sanity until Christmas Eve, because I always take off the last week of the year from work. (Insert confetti pop emoji here. Actually, make that several!)

Last weekend my most recent Stitch Fix arrived, and I can’t wait to share what I received with you. A new month always brings a new package on my doorstep, and my new stylist Bianca did not disappoint again! I asked her for holiday party-ready styles, and she most definitely delivered.

Stitch Fix December 2016 Review

If you’re new to Stitch Fix, I’ll break it down real quick. For a $20 styling fee, receive a box on your doorstep containing five items – anything from clothing to jewelry to handbags to shoes based on your style profile and Pinterest style board. Send back what you don’t like, keep what you do, and your $20 styling fee will be deducted from the total. Keep all five items and receive an additional 25% off.

If you sign up with my link, you’ll receive $25 off your first Fix!

Stitch Fix also is now serving male clients too! Have a significant other or male relative in need of some shopping assistance? Send them over to Stitch Fix Men! It works the same way, and it’s perfect for the holidays because if we are being honest, most men hate shopping!

And for all of your gift-giving needs, don’t forget that Stitch Fix offers gift cards. From $20 to $1,000, there’s an amount that’s appropriate for anyone on your list. I know I sure wouldn’t mind seeing a Stitch Fix Gift Card in my stocking this year. ;)

So without further ado, here’s what came in my Fix this month!

Burgundy Eye Makeup // Pur Cosmetics Get Ready with Me + Giveaway

Happy Black Friday! I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrate! Dave and I took off on an adventure over the river (well, Puget Sound) and through the woods to his grandmother’s house where we grubbed down on a seriously delicious spread. We’ll be repeating our adventure with my family later this weekend, and of course I’m looking forward to watching the entire Gilmore Girls revival, probably twice. Until I have thoughts to share about that (because I’m sure I will, like the last time I binge watched Gilmore Girls and wrote a post about it), I thought I’d share this fun burgundy makeup look I recently created.

If you click a link, I may make a small commission at no cost to you. All thoughts are my own!

I’ve been a huge fan of Pur Cosmetics since they first introduced themselves to me several months ago. As you may know, over time, bloggers are often added to PR lists where they receive packages from brands. While I’m not obligated to try the products, I try to give everything a shot and incorporate stand out products into my content. Sometimes, however, I hoard the products and save them up for one big post where I can tell you ALL about the brand, and so here we are.
