Calling all Pitches! The Bellas are back for one last call in Pitch Perfect 3. And it’s time to celebrate because Pitch Perfect 3 is now available on Blu-ray. Own it with all new musical performances, a gag reel, and extended scenes never seen in theaters!

To celebrate the occasion the best way I know how, I had to invite a few friends over to snack, lots of laughs, and to enjoy each other’s company! After all, isn’t it more fun to share great movies, good food, and fun drinks with friends? I think so!

If you’re ready to host a movie night with your best gal pals and are in need of some inspiration, read on! This is a party you can host no matter how much time you have or your entertaining skill level.

What to Wear (And Do!) this Easter

And just like that, spring is here! It seems like just yesterday Seattle was experiencing snow flurries. There’s nothing to mark the start of spring quite like Easter weekend. Whether you celebrate or not, I can’t help but love the cheery Easter Bunny, watching children collect Easter Eggs, and of course, adding a new dress to my closet for the spring occasion!

I’m thrilled today to partner with my friends at Fred Meyer on this sponsored post to share your one stop shop for all things Easter. Even better, their Easter Event is on now! Save on everything you need, whether you’re serving Easter Brunch, planning an elegant Easter Dinner, are looking to do something new this year, or anything in between.

If you’re in need of some holiday inspiration, you’re in the right place! I have a few fun ideas for your Easter celebration, from Easter basket making to brunching and shopping for the perfect outfit.

15+ Things to Do in my Favorite Seattle “Tourist Trap” // A Complete Pike Place Market Guide

If you haven’t been to Seattle yet, I’m sorry, but we just can’t be friends.

Just kidding.

But really, you should come visit my favorite city. I’ve been to a lot of great places, but there’s nothing like coming home to Seattle. It’s not all doom and gloom and rain, I promise. And when the sky lights up and the sun comes out, it’s pretty much the most incredible place to be.

And beyond our beautiful weather during the spring, summer, and fall, we also have some amazing things to do here. If you love being outdoors, you’ll love the multitude of hiking trails, parks, and beaches. If you’re into shopping, we have lots of that too. And if you haven’t heard about Pike Place Market, or are curious to learn more, then read on, because this post is for you!

A stop at Pike Place Market can be as short as 15 minutes, or an all-day affair. The choice is yours, so I’ve broken this post into the top 15 things, and maybe a few extra, things you can eat, see, and try around Pike Place Market and the new Market Front.
And before you go: the first rule of Pike Place Market is that it is just that. Not Pike’s Place, or Pike’s Market. Pike is a street name, not a person. ;)

Spring Cleaning Tips for the Messy Girl

After buying our house and moving in, I learned very quickly that being a neat and tidy person doesn’t come naturally to me. I’m not sure why I thought I was super organized (spoiler alert: I’m not! And it takes a lot of work to appear like I am.) For whatever reason, I had this idea about myself that I was. Maybe it was wishful thinking. Or maybe it was just trying to hide the truth.

Disclosure: Thanks so much to Kroger Co. for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.

Either way, being tidy, organized, and keeping the dust bunnies away is just not my forte. I could try to blame it on Rigby. (After all, he does shed year round, and tufts of fur can often be seen blowing like tumbleweeds down our hallway!) I could also try to blame my small obsession with clothing, shoes, and accessories that often can be seen overflowing from my closet looking pristine. Or, I could just admit that I have a problem and find solutions to help me become organized.

Thank goodness my friends at Fred Meyer have a ton of organizational and cleaning solutions for every problem I faced in our new house, and so today I want to share what I’ve learned about getting our house in tip-top shape for spring. So read on for my spring cleaning and organizational tips for the messy girl!
