Stella & Dot was kind enough to send me one of their curated boxes celebrating their new summer collection. All thoughts & style ideas are my own as always. :) Some links in this post may be affiliate links, and I may make a small commission if you click and/or make a purchase.
The sun is shining, the temperature is rising… spring is in full swing in Seattle. It means that I can finally pack up my thick sweaters, long coats, and pack away my tall boots for the season. Well, mostly anyway. Inevitably we’ll have some storms and rain here and there, but for the most part I think we’re in the clear.
This weekend, it hit the 70s, and it was cause for celebration. I dug through my closet to unearth some color and stumbled upon this dress that didn’t get a ton of love over the past few months. I thought it was the perfect dress to style in 3 different ways as it’s simple enough to take on anything from a day at the park to a night out on the town.
One Dress Three Ways for Spring
Look One: Simplistic Chic
What I’m Wearing
Dress: Umgee Daydream Believer Dress via Golden Tote (in black, in white, similar color)
Blazer: Ellison Boyfriend Blazer via Emerald Cuff (similar)
Necklace: Reina Necklace (Worn as Bracelet) c/o Stella & Dot
For the first look, my goal was to keep it simple. While this dress may be a wee bit short to wear to the office, if you had something similar that was a bit longer it would be doable. I paired this lightweight boyfriend blazer over the top, which is my go-to for a little extra warmth. (Sometimes my office AC gets a little out of control when the temperature outside is rising!) I am letting the dress be the star of the show, so I opted to keep accessories light with a necklace that I’m wearing as a wrap bracelet from the new Stella & Dot Summer Collection.
Look Two: Spring Romance
What I’m Wearing
Dress: Umgee Daydream Believer Dress via Golden Tote (in black, in white, similar color)
Lace Kimono: BasicallyMe (similar)
Necklace: Reina Necklace (Worn as Bracelet) c/o Stella & Dot
Necklace: Mirage Pendant Necklace c/o Stella & Dot
Bag: Nolita Small Crossbody c/o Stella & Dot
Shoes: Rylee Caged Heel via Target (similar)
In this next look, I wanted to style the dress for a night out without looking too glam. We play it pretty casual here in Seattle, so it only made sense to keep the look light and fun. The tassel on the statement bag from Stella & Dot played well with the bohemian vibe of this lace kimono and the tassels on this Stella & Dot necklace. I also love these sandals because they’re both cute and comfortable, and they pull the look together by matching the strap on the bag.
Look Three: Day Date
What I’m Wearing
Dress: Umgee Daydream Believer Dress via Golden Tote (in black, in white, similar color)
Denim Jacket: Sonoma Goods for Life Jean Jacket via Kohl’s
Necklace: Reina Necklace (Worn as Bracelet) c/o Stella & Dot
Scarf: Convertible Sarong c/o Stella & Dot
Shoes: Converse Low Tops via Nordstrom
Sunglasses: Miramar Sunglasses c/o Stella & Dot
The final look is the ultimate in casual: a dress with a pair of Chucks. The goal here is comfort, which is why this is probably my favorite pairing of all. I opted to use the new Stella & Dot Sarong from the Summer Collection as an infinity scarf, and I love how the white in the scarf is repeated in the sneakers.
I added a denim jacket over the top of the dress to keep the look casual, while also adding a little warmth because, well, sometimes day dates turn into evening dates too. ;) The sunglasses are super comfortable, and I love the little gold arrow details!
You may be wondering what this mysterious Stella & Dot Summer Collection is, and I was fortunate enough to be selected to receive a curated box from them with pieces from their upcoming collection. It launches this week, April 7th, and you’ll be able to buy any of the pieces you see here and much more! I have several friends who sell Stella & Dot and already own a few pieces that I purchased myself. What I like most is that the jewelry is high quality without totally breaking the bank. They also have many sales and specials, so even when you do purchase something at full price, you’ll often receive a coupon to use on your next purchase.
Accessories can make or break an outfit. Even though I’m not one to go crazy with the arm candy, or layer stacks and stacks of rings terribly often, the power of a funky bag, bangle, or necklace can take your outfit to the next level.
How do you like to change up the look of clothing in your closet? Do you have any go-to accessory pieces that you can’t live without? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
That color is gorgeous on you!
Thank you so much Chelsea!
I love discovering pieces from previous seasons that have been packed away! It’s like shopping all over again ;) . This dress is darling, too! I think the Spring Romance look is my fave because of the crochet cardi, detailed cross body, and the statement necklace. Even though all of the looks look amazing! Also – that’s awesome about Stella & Dot! I’m always swooning over their pieces so I can’t wait to see their spring collection. YAY! Lovely post, Jen!!!

Aw, thanks so much Anna! Stella & Dot does make beautiful jewelry! I have a couple of friends who sell it themselves and am always jealous of their accessory collections! ;)
Love all of these, but I think the second one is especially *you*.
Aw thanks Breenah! That was my favorite outfit, and the first one I put together. :)
I did a similar outfit to your last one this weekend too! It was a black chevron Stitchfix dress and my jean jacket. Great looks!
Love that! Great minds think alike :)
oooh so pretty! the colour is gorgeous on you.. love the day date version :)
Thanks so much Kristen! :)
Jenn I love this…especially the romantic bohemian look! Such a versatile dress! Also, I need to get on board with these box subscriptions. So many cute pieces in the Stella & Dot Box. I want that tassel crossbody bag. Hope you’re doing well girl!
Aw thank you Rita! The crossbody bag is definitely my favorite piece in their summer collection! Hope you’ve been well too :)
Love all these looks!! That color looks so good on you!
Thanks so much, Grace!
I love love love the second look that you put together. It feels SO springy! I have heard a lot about Stella and Dot but wasn’t really sure what they were all about. I really like the accessories that you used! I’ve been trying really hard to get more out of my wardrobe, since I only brought a small part of it to Louisiana, and changing up my accessories really helps me put together new outfits!
Thanks Chelsie! That was my favorite too! Stella & Dot sells a lot of jewelry but just launched accessories (sarongs/scarves/sunglasses/tunics) for summer as well as beauty products. I have a couple of friends who sell Stella & Dot but was excited to get a sneak peek from the company directly!
