Every year when March rolls around I get excited because it means the cherry blossoms are almost in bloom. If you remember last year, then you might recall this outfit I shot with Dave under the cherry blossom trees at the University of Washington Quad, one of the most infamous of locations come spring. The trees bloom, and slowly fade over the course of a few weeks. Blink and you’ll miss them, but they are most definitely worth a trip and battling the crowds for a fun photo.
Disclosure: Some items in this outfit were provided courtesy of (c/o) of the brand. I also have an on-going partnership with Shopbop to share their sales several times a year in exchange for product credit. All opinions are my own!

On a Saturday morning, my friend Ana Luiza and I ventured over to UW for some photos and a coffee date. It’s always fun getting together with blog friends to chat about blogging, shoot photos, and not get eye rolls when you take 5 minutes to get the perfect snap for your Instagramm Story. I’m only kind of kidding.

I couldn’t help but want to wear floral for the occasion, and despite the dreary weather, I pulled out my floral maxi dress from Banana Republic and suede moto jacket from BLANKNYC for the occasion. In case of rain, my suede has already been waterproofed so I wasn’t too worried. ;)
For a casual look to my maxi, I paired it with ankle boots from Thursday Boots. These are new to my wardrobe and I absolutely love them. They have a short heel that makes them incredibly comfortable, while still giving me a slight lift. It just so happens that this color matches perfectly with my Mini Saddle Bag from Cuyana. A match made in heaven? I think yes!
To finish off the look, I added a few pieces of jewelry. My Kendra Scott Phara Necklace has been a go-to. The hematite pairs so well with so much of my wardrobe, and I love that the necklace is easy to convert into different lengths. I also wore my Kendra Scott Boyd Ring and a cross over ring from Madewell that I picked up from Shopbop several months ago.
Speaking of Shopbop, that brings me to my final part of this post which is to share the Shopbop Sale! You may know I have an on-going partnership with them, so when big sales roll around I love to share the pieces I am absolutely loving with you! Below I’ve linked items that I wear again and again. When they go on sale at up 20-25% off, it’s even better!
My BlankNYC moto jacket is one of those pieces, and it even comes in several other spring-friendly colors. If you’ve been hesitant to consider it up until now, at a discounted price of $158 (or $148 if you’re spending $500+) I really think you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better quality jacket. I wasn’t even sure how much I’d wear this and I’ve been pleasantly surprisedĀ at how seamlessly it goes with everything. Plus, every time I wear it I feel like it’s complimented the most, so that’s always a nice bonus. ;)
Anyway, if you have any questions about that or any of my other favorites, I’d be more than happy to answer them. The Shopbop sale ends Sunday night, 4/16, at 11:59 pm PST so please don’t delay. Sizes and entire pieces are selling out already and I wouldn’t want you to miss out! ;) Just use code EVENT17 to checkout and save 20% on any order, or 25% off orders of $500 or more. Happy Shopping!
