Million Dollar View // “noo” adventures

Sponsored Post: This post is graciously sponsored by noosa yoghurt, who encouraged me to go out and experience something “noo” in my city. All opinions about the delicious yoghurt are my own!

It was a cool, crisp morning last Sunday when Dave and I ventured into the unknown. Okay, that sounds way more dramatic than it actually was. We hopped into the car with little Rigby and headed up to the mountain. Cougar Mountain, that is, which is actually in our ‘hood and is somewhere we’ve never gone to even though it’s only about 15 minutes from door to trailhead. It’s funny, when you live somewhere like the Pacific Northwest you become so used to be around such beautiful trails and wooded areas that you forget to actually go see them.

Rigby is a huge fan of going “noo” places. Well, actually, I’m pretty sure he was freaked out about this because I may have said something about going to the vet, but I digress. (I troll my dog, what can I say.) As soon as we arrived at our destination he was beyond stoked. I think it was the scent of bears and other woodland creatures that excited him most.

Last week, Seattle’s Eastside neighbor, Bellevue, celebrated fashion week. Every year, Bellevue hosts several fashion shows, parties, and free events celebrating fashion. Exploring Travel Destinations in Your Backyard (and What to Wear)

I am thrilled to have Savannah back on the blog today. You may recognize her from her last post on how to curb your spending habits with a spending freeze. She shared this fun idea for a post – exploring travel destinations in your own backyard – and I thought it was perfect for those who are trying to sneak one last vacation in but may be on a budget. Who says you can’t take a vacation in your own town, right? Read on for a few of Savannah’s suggestions!

You don’t have to romp around the world to create unforgettable summer memories. This list will explore some awesome activities that you can likely find right in your neighborhood. Good thing, because I probably couldn’t afford yachting in the south of France this summer anyway.

Disneyland Paris, Sightseeing, Shopping, & Verasailles // Final Europe Trip Vlogs

As much as I’ve enjoyed reliving our European trip through making vlogs of our time there, I’m also happy to be sharing the final three with you! I am going to warn you… be prepared for photo overload!

Once we returned to Paris from London, we spent the entire next day at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios. Disneyland Paris reminded me so much of Disneyland in California. It even looked the same once you walked into the park! It was amazing how many different languages we heard here as well – this was a melting pot of cultures. We had so much fun, but my feet were more than sore by the end of the day and sitting down felt luxurious. ;)

Weekend in London {Vlog & Europe Trip Recap #4}

After flying for a million hours and staying one day in Paris, we hopped another flight to spend the very first weekend of our Europe trip in London. We stayed in Trafalgar Square, which ended up being the heart of the action. The Pride Festival action, anyways. I was surprised to see far less nudity than what I’m used to seeing from our Seattle festivals, and overall most people kept to themselves or joined in the screaming with the rest of the crowd.
