Make a Gift Basket For Mom with Sprouts

Last year, I got my mom hooked. It was an accident, really. I took her for her first facial on a press trip to the Olympic Peninsula, and she was amazed at how good it felt. Not just the facial itself, but the way in which she was able to unwind a bit, relax, and treat herself to something new. Since then, she’s been asking for skincare tips (which I have plenty of!) and has told me she makes time for self-care rituals, even something as simple as taking more time for body care after a shower.

This year, I was thrilled to partner with my friends at Sprouts to create a Blissful Body Care gift basket with the ultimate self-care tools inside, just for mom. While I can’t quite replicate a real spa in a DIY mother’s day gift basket, I can give her a few great products that will give her the ability to recreate it right at home, when it’s convenient for her schedule. Even better? Sprouts makes it easy as a one-stop shop for natural, affordable products I can count on to make Mom smile!

If you’re stumped on what to get for Mother’s Day, then make a gift basket for Mom! You can customize it exactly to her preferences and can be enjoyed at any time. Today, I thought I’d share some of the amazing products I found, all available at Sprouts, to include in my do-it-yourself Mother’s Day gift basket!

How to Have Healthier Hair this Spring with Pantene

Well, spring is officially here! I am for one excited about the changing weather, but like every season in the Pacific Northwest, the transition time between seasons is always rough on my skin and hair. It will be warm and humid one day, and the next it will be cold and wet. This yo-yo climate wreaks havoc on my beauty routine, as one day I’ll be battling dryness and encourage volume, and the next I’ll be trying to tame frizz and flyaways. The struggle is real!

Fortunately, Pantene to the rescue! They’ve been my go-to haircare brand since I was in elementary school, and I love how they’re still making my old favorites, but also creating innovative newer products, too. In January of this year, they launched Pantene Intense Rescue Shots in the United States. Previously a great hair day secret of Brazilians, Pantene’s first at-home rescue treatment is full of concentrated nutrients, vitamins, and lipids to encourage healthy hair.

This time of year, the weather can change wildly day to day, sometimes even throughout the day, requiring many different layers to accommodate the weather conditions of the moment and making winter to spring outfits a necessity.

Got Dry Skin? Here’s How to Fix Cold Weather Skin Problems!

Even though Spring is almost here, my skin has still been acting like we’re in the dead of winter. I think that’s probably due to our wacky weather, which hasn’t been able to pick a season. After all, just last week, I woke up to snow on the ground, and some areas of Seattle even had a bit of snow fall yesterday! It’s crazy, I tell you, and battling dry skin in winter is absolutely no fun.

At the end of last month, I was invited on King 5’s New Day NW, a morning show that runs on our local news station. Because we had that epic snowstorm known as “Snowmageddon” just a week or so prior, I tackled the topic of dealing with winter skin problems.

It wasn’t hard to find products in my arsenal that help me – in fact, I had to pare it down as segments are only about 5 or so minutes long. Even then, I still had a ton of information to share, which is why I wanted to hone in all of my thoughts regarding dry skin in winter and share those here with you today!

So who’s ready to keep those flakes at bay and say see ya later to your winter skin woes?!
