Growing up, fairy tales always fascinated me. It’s no wonder; with monsters that transformed into humans, anthropomorphic creatures, and mystical storylines, they really can captivate an audience from young to old. It’s what makes Disney movies some of my all-time favorites still to this day, and why I almost always advocate for seeing a “kids” movie when we go out versus the latest action thriller. Young at heart? Maybe, but mostly, I love getting lost in the story.

Alice in Wonderland is a great example of a storyline that for me, has improved with age. The unique set of characters, the bizarre world we’re transported to, and those costumes! The costumes are probably my favorite part. It’s no wonder that I was beyond excited to have the opportunity to pick a look from HSN’s recent collection inspired by Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Vacation Ready DIY Pedicure

Vacations are beyond exciting. You look forward to them for days, months, sometimes even years. But of course, like any good procrastinator (if there’s such a thing), I always wait until the last minute to get my prep on. The changing of seasons is hard on my skin. Every time we get a big shift in weather, be it a cold front, a storm, or just a string of sunny days, I’ll notice a skin freak out. Sometimes it’s just a bump or two, other times it is dry patches or an oil slick. What I’ve discovered over the years of fine tuning my skin routine is that I need vastly different skincare products depending on the season we are in.

Pacifica Beauty Review & Tutorial

Earlier this month, Bartell Drugs celebrated all things beauty during their annual Beauty Spring Sale. They had makeup demos in store, which I was lucky enough to receive, plenty of sales, and special discounts with purchase, like free gift cards. After my mini makeover, I couldn’t wait to shop the sale, and I picked out a few goodies from their newly carried Pacifica line.
