What I Read in May

Product Sample: A complimentary copy of Make Up by Michelle Phan was provided to me from Blogging for Books in exchange for this review.

I can’t believe it’s already been another month since I updated what I’ve been reading. It seems like I didn’t read that much last month, but apparently I did. I read a few good ones, and a few not so good ones. Seems like the usual pattern this year. So, onto what I’ve been reading!

What I Read in May

Larger than Life by Jodi Picoult – ★★★ – This was a short story that was related to Leaving Time, a book I’ve read already. It was about more elephants, which apparently Picoult must be into. I can’t say this was my favorite short story of hers.

Reading Challenge: January Update

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I like to read. And I may slightly “cheat” the system. All the books I read aren’t paperbacks, hardcovers, or even via e-Reader… I listen to audiobooks. In the car? I have an audiobook on. Folding laundry? Yep, audiobook is on. We got rid of cable last year and it’s definitely helped with getting through my huge pile of To Be Read books.

2014 Favorite Reads & Goals for 2015

I read a lot of books last year… 102 if we’re being specific. I honestly didn’t think I was going to be able to finish this year, but with the help of audio books and some persistence, I did it.

Best Books of 2014 and 2015 Reading Goals / hellorigby!

In 2015, I’m challenging myself to 150 books. Seems a little crazy, but at this time last year I wasn’t listening to many books, so I think I can challenge myself a little bit more this time around. But before I close the books on 2014 (ha, see what I did there? I crack myself up.) I thought I’d do one last round-up of the absolute best books of 2014,  one from each month. Continue reading
