Stitch Fix February 2017 | Stitch Fix Reviews

And before I knew it, it was February. The month of my birthday (yay!) among other fun things like Valentine’s Day. Honestly, though, I can’t believe a new month is already here. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the start of 2017.

With a new month always comes a new Stitch Fix for me. Stitch Fix review posts are always popular, so I’ll continue doing them as long as you’ll still read them. ;) If you’d like to see other reviews of subscription services, feel free to let me know in the comments too!

After sorting my denim around the holidays (because somehow, my denim collection seems never to stop growing…) I noticed my black jeans were looking a little sad. You know when you wash something black too much, and it starts to look more gray than black? Yep, that’s exactly how my current pair of black skinny jeans look. When I tried these on, I instantly fell in love. The denim is super soft, and they fit more like leggings than denim. They fit close to the body without looking like they reveal everything under the trunk if you get what I mean.

Because Valentine’s Day is coming up, and I also happened to be shooting a couple’s look that’s coming up tomorrow on the blog, I opted to dress these up for a date night in mind. I paired them with my favorite SJP Pumps {similar red almond toe style under $110} and a white bell sleeve blouse that I’ve been pretty into recently. A pop of red from my Rebecca Minkoff Regan Crossbody completes the look, and a faux leather moto jacket would be perfect for a night on the town!

Daniel Rainn Bernal Split Neck Blouse in White, Size Small // $64

The next item I received in my Stitch Fix was this pretty floral blouse from Daniel Rainn. The blouse is sleeveless and would be perfect under a blazer for the office, or under a denim shirt or jacket for a casual weekend outfit.

Daniel Rainn Bernal Split Neck Blouse // Stitch Fix February 2017 Review // Hello Rigby Seattle Fashion BlogI opted to style it casually here. I paired the blouse with a denim shirt and vintage flare jeans that I DIYed to have fringe hems {shop similar style here under $60}. To add a bit of a bohemian twist, I topped the outfit off with a fringe bag that I kept from a Stitch Fix a few months back and a hat from David and Young.

Market and Spruce Dollie Tie Back Neck Knit Top // Stitch Fix February 2017 Review // Hello Rigby Seattle Fashion Blog

Market & Spruce Dollie Tie Back Neck Knit Top in Grey, Size Small // $54

When I first pulled this Market & Spruce knit top out of the box, it looked a little boring. That was, until, I turned it around and saw the adorable keyhole back detail. I love the contrasting white ribbon and the coziness that this knit top adds to an otherwise edgy outfit.

I’ve been into mixing edgier pieces lately, which is why I instantly grabbed my moto jacket and my Rebecca Minkoff booties {similar style under $50!} to pair with this top. A pair of skinny jeans, a crossbody bag {similar under $25}, and my Lariat Necklace finished off this look. Who says gray has to be boring?!

Bancroft Woods Beaded Wrap Necklace // Stitch Fix February 2017 Review // Hello Rigby Seattle Fashion Blog

Bancroft Woods Beaded Wrap Necklace in Grey // $34

Wrapped neatly in a small box was this beaded wrap necklace from Bancroft. On a delicate chain, the beads add a nice shimmer, and I love how easy it is to wear this necklace. You could wrap it tightly and wear it as a choker, or wear it at a longer length like I did here. You could probably even create a wrap bracelet out of it!

Dear John Dalba Bomber Jacket in Red, Size Small // $88

The final item in my Stitch Fix was this adorable bomber jacket from Dear John. The color is a lovely reddish-orange, and I think it flatters my natural coloring. The material was incredibly soft, and the jacket is lined which makes it feel like a quality piece.

When styling this bomber jacket, I knew I wanted to wear it with light layers. It hasn’t quite warmed up enough (in fact, I think there’s snow in the forecast!) to bust out my spring pieces yet, so I’m still in rocking winter staples like turtlenecks. This one is a lightweight style that works to add warmth without adding a lot of bulk like a sweater might. I paired it with a pair of skinny jeans and my bucket bag from Shaffer LA. To complete the look, I added a pair of vintage floral slip-ons to complete this comfy casual outfit.

And that’s a wrap on this month’s Stitch Fix review! I hope you enjoyed seeing the pieces I got and how I opted to style them into my current wardrobe. Overall, I was pleased with the variety in this month’s Fix, and I think Bianca killed it by sending me wardrobe staples that had enough interesting detail to be entirely different from anything I already had in my wardrobe!

Out of all the pieces I received, which were your favorite? How would you style these pieces? I’d love to hear your thoughts about my Stitch Fix in the comments!

Those black jeans look fabulous on you!!! And that pop of red in the first outfit is super cute without being in-your-face!:) I love red but sometimes shy away from wearing it because its so bright!

I absolutely love what you were sent! The shirt with the bow in the back + the bomber jacket are my favorite. I did my first stitch fix box in a year and I loved what they sent.

I have that same bow-back top. I got it in my last fix! It’s so comfy to wear, but I’m thinking about cutting off the ribbon and sewing the back together because the bow always seems to get in my way.

I got the bomber jacket in my March fix and I love it! It’s still not warm enough to wear here but I’m excited to wear it!

I am just starting out on this Stitch Fix site. I love the bomber jacket in orange and black the green isn’t bad either. My first box is due to arrive in April. I’m a cheap shopper or frugal may be a better sounding word I like good quality clothing at or below sale prices. So I hope my first box isn’t too much. I’ll be back to give an update on my selections. Wish me luck!!

Hi Kim! Hope your first box was a success. I also tend to be on the frugal side, but love a splurge here and there. I typically keep one or two pieces from Stitch Fix and shop elsewhere for the rest of my wardrobe. :)
