September Love With Food Subscription Box: Gluten Free

This month we tried our first Love with Food box. I had heard and seen great things from this company, and was super excited to try the Gluten Free version!

Here’s the box, with Rigby’s help, we managed to get it open ;)image

Here’s what was inside:image

Products:
In the Box
Good Boy Organics Organicasaurus Cheddar Cheese Baked Corn Snacks – these were like a really unfortunate version of Pirate’s Booty. They just weren’t cheesy and tasted more akin to corn styrofoam. This was a miss for me.

Licious Organics Honey Cookies in Cherry Berry – This was super tart and the texture was really odd, I guess because it was uncooked oats? Another miss.

Betty Loou’s Blueberry Fruit Bar – I liked this, but it was pretty darn sweet. I shared this with Dave, and was glad I only had half. I would eat this again though!

Outside of the box
Wild Garden Roasted Garlic Hummus – Haven’t tried this yet, but it seems like an interesting concept. (ETA: Tried this. It’s good! Ok, maybe this box is turning itself around…;) )

Dipin Pepper & Artichoke Bruschetta – I haven’t tried this yet either. I wish they had shipped crackers for this and the hummus!

YumEarth Organics Fruit Snacks – Haven’t tried this yet, but the flavors sound awesome. Peach, banana, strawberry, and cherry? Yes plz.

BareFruit Cinnamon Apple Chips – I’ve had these before, and liked them. This bag, however, had a rancid apple chip in there. That was an unfortunate bite, and I threw out the rest of the bag. Yuck.

Cosmos Cinnamon Crunch  – This was good! Really really cinnamon-y and sweet though. I would have loved to try just the regular caramel flavor, but this was still pretty good.

Millies Savory Teas Sipping Broths – Its not quite cold enough for warm drinks like this, so I haven’t tried these yet. The concept is interesting though, and would be great for when someone has a cold.

Suffice to say, I was kind of torn on this box. There are definitely some products with promise, but the some were just not my thing.

I’d love to try Love with Food again, but for now, I cancelled our subscription in favor of a different snack box for October. Since this was my first box, it was only $2, and really was a great value.

If you want to give Love with Food a try, you can get your first month free & just pay $2 shipping by using code “FBGIFT”. Let me know what you think!

xo.
